Adventures in Wurzburg

Hi lovelies, After sailing most of the night this morning we reached the beautiful town of Wurzberg. We arrived a couple of hours before schedule due to some timing luck with locks. Wurzberg is surrounded by vineyards. We noticed them while sailing and again on the walk. I have decided that I am pleased my lot in life is “to drink the wine, not tend the vine”. I cannot imagine working these fields. They are all on the sides of hills. Vineyards up and down the hills Our morning view is of the old residence belonging to the Prince Bishops. Visit to Bamberg

Hi all Our channel today comes to you from Bamberg in Germany. A lovely little town without the big tourist visitors we had yesterday. Little Venice area  We arrived in town early morning so no rushing about, so when we were all set they took us for a short coach ride into town to do a guided walk. They always give us a local guide walk and you have a choice to do a easy walk or a normal walk. Look closely a warning to thieves on the post Sleigh ride anyone? Yes half a head sculpture This is one little gem of a town. No too big or small with some unique buildings and sights. It is built on the banks of 2 rivers which break the town into 3 smaller sections. We got visit and walk around looking at some very interesting building which haven't changed for hundreds of years.
