Fernleigh Track Tunnel.

Hi lovelies, Well we certainly slept well last night, and this morning parts of our poor bodies hurt just a little. 😊   Not to be deterred I asked Robbie about going for a short walk to see the tunnel on the Fernleigh Track.     It was only 1km from the parking lot.   The track was all paved and fairly flat.    Our only problem with this was that we went to the wrong car park.   So our nice 2km walk, turned into a slightly longer 5.8km walk. It was a pleasant walk, and we did see some lovely sights. These swans and ducks were having a little morning meeting on the river bank.  One swan allowed us to get very close to him, though I was a bit sceptical about whether he would attack us or not. A walk or two.

Hi lovelies, Another gorgeous day here.    This morning we did our civic duty and voted.   Saves the long line on Saturday.  We then ventured up the coast just a little do the first of 2 walks we had planned for the day.      The first walk was the Ken and Audrey Owens Walk to Redhead Beach.   It was along a boardwalk and was quite lovely. We could hear lots and lots of birds, but did not see to many.  These “Dalek” style structures were along the walk.   Anyone know what they are for? The walk runs through the back of the dunes along the coast line and then finishes at Redhead Beach.   The beach was nice, and the cliff at the northern end was quite stunning.  Anyone else see a craggy old man, much like Gargamel from the Smurfs.   From there we walked back to our car, and then travelled to the Belmont end of the Fernleigh Track.   Little did ...
