Kiama to Burrill Lake, via Huskisson

Hi lovelies,

Another day of seeing some wonderful areas of this amazing country.

This morning it was time to pack up and leave Kiama, with our destination being Burrill Lake.

On the way we had a short stop at Nowra.

The bridge across into the town looked a little small.

We saw some really cute little buildings

and tried to take the Street Art walk, but ended up a bit lost. So perhaps this was not the only bird-brain on the street.

From Nowra we headed to Huskisson on Jervis Bay. What a lovely little town this is.

We had a small wander around the waterfront and through the HMAS Voyager memorial.

Watched the stand-up paddle board surfers.

Checked out the Sycamore which was doing some training.

And a spot of lunch, where we fed the seagulls. A place we will return to soon I think.

It was then back to the highway and off to our van park for the next week.

We cannot believe the site we have for the next week.

Right on the lake, a boat ramp for Robbie to fish from and such a peaceful setting.

We are so very blessed.

New South Wales Adventure - Tenterfield

Hi lovelies, A little earlier start this morning than yesterday. We were up having a lovely breakfast by 8am. It was a little sad this morning as we said goodbye to Steph and Leo. We have had such a blessed time with them and we look forward to catching up with them again when we head to South Australia next year. As the weather was drizzly today we decided to head off to visit some of the nearby National Parks. Our day consisted of dirt roads, mossy paths, lots of kangaroos and very few cars. Gramps we are very sorry but the O Mobile is in great need of a bath. If it rains tonight I will be sending Robbie out in his swimmers to give it a wash. Our first stop was to see Thunderbolts Hideout. It is a short walk through some bush to see where this apparently "gentlemanly" bushranger hid. It was then back into the car and off to see the Tank Traps that were part of the Brisbane Line. It is a fairly visually unimpressive place for such an important part

Dylusions Dy-Cuts Art Journal

Hi Lovelies, This week's edition of Art Journal is very special, stunning and unique! We can't get enough of all the textures and colours going on in this page! We just love this. New South Wales Adventure - Armidale

We today we ventured about Armidale on foot. We started at the markets having a look see at what they had at the farmers market. A few marketers so not much to see today really. Off we walked around town to see the historical sights. Lots of old buildings from the early days. In Armidale 100 years ago you had a choice of 21 Hotels!! Today there are 9. Sorry beer lovers. The original Bank of NSW These guys had a 4 displays of miniature figurines- really cool Baptist Church Lots of churches within cooee of each other ; Catholic, C of E, Pressy, and Baptist. Lovely old buildings to be admired. Catholic Church grounds - Large area. Home to the St Ursuline Convent Pressy Church Town Hall Court House This Celtic cross was erected to commemorate the first Christian service held here in 1845.
