More fun with the goats

Hi lovelies,

We are still in Tooma on the goat farm.

We have been having such a wonderful time and trying to be more help than hindrance.

Just sharing some of the photos from the last few days.

Amelia was teaching the Augustus to accept the halter.

Robbie trying to move Matilda out of the road so we could open the gates.

Opening the side of the crush to give the calf some room after milking Heffney.

Having a laugh at Poppet and Banjo who decided the chicken shed was a great place to escape the rain.

Amelia and I took a trip into Corryong for some supplies (and to play ladies and have some lunch).

We learned how to use the camp oven, and made a beautiful roast pork dinner.  Rosie decided it was a great place to warm up her old bones.

We were taken for a trip up to some of the back pastures where the view was fabulous.

 We saw a wombat.

Robbie went for a ride on a motor bike

and built some shelters for when the kidding starts.

The end of another couple of lovely days.

All for now lovelies,

Stay safe and keep enjoying life.

Love us.

It was very smooth no seasickness this time :) We got on the 4x4 wheel bus and headed inland to Lake Mackenzie. This was a very picturesque spot. The water was very cool and the sand as white as we've seen it. After this we headed to Central station , the old tree clearing head quarters. Next we headed for Lake Wobby which was a 45 min trek in and 45 out across lots of sand. It sits on a big sand-blow which will eventually disappear. A small fresh water lake with a couple of cat fish in it. Then off to our accommodation for the night. The next day we headed out to run the beach pretty much all day heading all the way up to Champagne Pools. We eventua...
