NSW Trip - Armidale to Bendemeer

Well an adventure was had today. We set off from Armidale to Bendemeer curious to see a couple of sights along the way. We didn't take a main road as we would have missed a few sights. Well the usually reliable navigator who shall remain nameless (L.W) seems to have miscalculated and took us up some really off road dirt tracks and cattle grids trying to find 2 places.

Well after some assistance via Google maps - not , we used our map app to get us back on track.

Here we came across what we were looking for. A round Shearing shed in the middle of nowhere, but pretty cool.

A bit further up the road we came to Gostwych Chapel. What a nice old church and surrounds.

Elms surround the roads leading in and out
We headed off to Uralla hoping it was the end of dirt roads, it was, but we knew we were in the country. A bit of slow careful driving required here.

We stopped in Uralla for some info, noting that this weekend is Captain Thunderbolt festival. (Yep we celebrate criminals here).

Off we set off to our camp for a couple of days at Bendemeer, just north of Tamworth. (Tamworth full due to 2 big gatherings), but what a nice quite relaxing place. We setup then took a walk across the bridges (1 no longer vehicle use) to parts of town.

Lizzy wants to retire here!!

We stopped at the local shop and had an Iceblock to cool down in their garden area.

The next few days we will explore around the area including Tamworth.

Flower of the day for those keen. What is it? (Post or email answer please)

A quick one. Hit the like button please if you enjoy our ramblings. Cheers

New South Wales Adventure - Tenterfield

Hi lovelies, A little earlier start this morning than yesterday.  We were up having a lovely breakfast by 8am.   It was a little sad this morning as we said goodbye to Steph and Leo.  We have had such a blessed time with them and we look forward to catching up with them again when we head to South Australia next year. As the weather was drizzly today we decided to head off to visit some of the nearby National Parks.  Our day consisted of dirt roads, mossy paths, lots of kangaroos and very few cars.  Gramps we are very sorry but the O Mobile is in great need of a bath.  If it rains tonight I will be sending Robbie out in his swimmers to give it a wash. Our first stop was to see Thunderbolts Hideout.  It is a short walk through some bush to see where this apparently "gentlemanly" bushranger hid. It was then back into the car and off to see the Tank Traps that were part of the Brisbane Line.  It is a fairly visually unimpressive place for such an important part

Dylusions Dy-Cuts Art Journal

Hi Lovelies, This week's edition of Art Journal is very special, stunning and unique! We can't get enough of all the textures and colours going on in this page! We just love this.  This wonderful page features the Dylusions 'Dy-Cuts' which are quirky and colorful pre-cut shapes which make the perfect addition to any art journal page! You probably can already guess what paints we have used this week... The stunning, vibrant colours which are leaping of this page, are of course, Dylusions paints! When you take a closer look at you can see the texture and elements which have been layered to create this stunning page. A script stamp is perfect for layering and can fill in any gaps where you think something might be missing but not quite sure what! Helen has scattered some of the new Dina Wakley 'Collage Words' across the two pages. These are great as you can add a sentiment to your page whilst still allowing the colours from the background to
