Vienna Austria

Hi lovelies,

Today was Vienna. What a beautiful city, and so super clean. We even saw one man cleaning the outside of a rubbish bin.

The day started with a bus tour of the city and then a walking tour of the inner city.

It was freezing here

We found 4 of the 15 Christmas markets that were on offer. Lots of wonderful things to see. One thing we noticed about the stalls today is that they were selling a lot of mass produced items rather than handmade.



We did find apple strudel punch, which is served warm and was very nice.

After another few hours we managed to find where to meet the bus to return to the ship.
Old trams here as well.

Then a rest was in order.

With our short blog can you guess we are pretty tired tonight.

Saw a t-shirts etc in the shop today with a sign saying "No Kangaroos in Austria" Showed them my scarf with kangaroos on it had a laugh.

New South Wales Adventure - Armidale

We today we ventured about Armidale on foot. We started at the markets having a look see at what they had at the farmers market. A few marketers so not much to see today really. Off we walked around town to see the historical sights. Lots of old buildings from the early days.  In Armidale 100 years ago you had a choice of 21 Hotels!! Today there are 9. Sorry beer lovers. The original Bank of NSW  These guys had a 4 displays of miniature figurines- really cool Baptist Church  Lots of churches within cooee of each other ; Catholic, C of E, Pressy, and Baptist. Lovely old buildings to be admired. Catholic Church grounds - Large area. Home to the St Ursuline Convent Pressy Church Town Hall Court House This Celtic cross was erected to commemorate the first Christian service held here in 1845. Forster-Tuncurry

Hi lovelies, Yesterday we packed up at Harrington and moved a whole 50km south to Darawank, just north of Forster-Tuncurry.  It took us 5 hours to get here 😊 .  We went via Black Head where they were holding the monthly markets.  They were huge and had lots of goodies to offer.  I think Robbie was thankful that I had no cash on me. From there we took a drive to Diamond Head, a pretty beach area.  We stopped there, and shared some morning tea with a very cheeky local. Our next stop was Red Head, but we did not venture to the beach.  There were some spectacular views of the coastline. It was then back into the car and we headed along the Pacific Highway to past Nabaic and down to Wootton where we turned off to follow the Lakes Way past lots of lovely little bays and finally through Forster and Tuncurry to our park. New South Wales Adventure - Tenterfield

Hi lovelies, A little earlier start this morning than yesterday.  We were up having a lovely breakfast by 8am.   It was a little sad this morning as we said goodbye to Steph and Leo.  We have had such a blessed time with them and we look forward to catching up with them again when we head to South Australia next year. As the weather was drizzly today we decided to head off to visit some of the nearby National Parks.  Our day consisted of dirt roads, mossy paths, lots of kangaroos and very few cars.  Gramps we are very sorry but the O Mobile is in great need of a bath.  If it rains tonight I will be sending Robbie out in his swimmers to give it a wash. Our first stop was to see Thunderbolts Hideout.  It is a short walk through some bush to see where this apparently "gentlemanly" bushranger hid.
