And we're back.

Hi lovelies,

I know it has been a bit since we let you know where we were on our adventures.  Due to never-ending paperwork, we had to return to Toowoomba for a couple of days.  It was a mad rush visit, and we took a couple of days out to visit my mum and dad.  That was lovely.

We are back on the road, but need to stick close to home for the next few weeks while we await more paperwork, but we are pleased to be able to get out and about again.

Today we left again and have arrived at Glendon Camping Centre for the next few days.

It was pouring today when we arrived, and we set up the best we could, but soon found out that our site had no water.  Off to see the caretakers to find out what we could do.  They were so lovely and accommodating.  We moved the van to another area where there is a camp kitchen and we have been able to hook up there.  Thankfully it had stopped raining.

This park is mainly for off-road bikes and cars, and caters very well for them.  We are blessed that it was not very busy and so the area we are in has no other campers at all.  It is so lovely.  We overlook a creek, which does not have too much water in it despite the abundance of rain today.  I am just sorry I did not take a photo when we arrived.  Some of the water around our first site was calf deep.

After setting up and having a spot of lunch we sat for a little and watched the local wildlife.  The gorgeous kangaroo and her joey that have been shown throughout this post were the highlight.  They were just so cute.

As too were the Apostlebirds who visited for a bit.  Then these 5 decided to have slumber party.  All I could think of was "There was one in the bed and the little one said....."  Now you will have that song stuck in your head for the next week.  You're welcome. 😇

This little one also joined us, but we do not know what type it is, so any help would be wonderful.

When the birds and skippy left we decided to go for a bit of a walk.  The area has some wonderful parkland, and we found this little fellow as well.

Tomorrow we off to discover some of the other areas in the grounds, weather permitting.

Take care lovelies and keep enjoying life.

Love Us.

New South Wales Adventure - Tenterfield

Hi lovelies, A little earlier start this morning than yesterday.  We were up having a lovely breakfast by 8am.   It was a little sad this morning as we said goodbye to Steph and Leo.  We have had such a blessed time with them and we look forward to catching up with them again when we head to South Australia next year. As the weather was drizzly today we decided to head off to visit some of the nearby National Parks.  Our day consisted of dirt roads, mossy paths, lots of kangaroos and very few cars.  Gramps we are very sorry but the O Mobile is in great need of a bath.  If it rains tonight I will be sending Robbie out in his swimmers to give it a wash. Our first stop was to see Thunderbolts Hideout.  It is a short walk through some bush to see where this apparently "gentlemanly" bushranger hid. It was then back into the car and off to see the Tank Traps that were part of the Brisbane Line.  It is a fairly visually unimpressive place for such an important part

Dylusions Dy-Cuts Art Journal

Hi Lovelies, This week's edition of Art Journal is very special, stunning and unique! We can't get enough of all the textures and colours going on in this page! We just love this.  This wonderful page features the Dylusions 'Dy-Cuts' which are quirky and colorful pre-cut shapes which make the perfect addition to any art journal page! You probably can already guess what paints we have used this week... The stunning, vibrant colours which are leaping of this page, are of course, Dylusions paints! When you take a closer look at you can see the texture and elements which have been layered to create this stunning page. A script stamp is perfect for layering and can fill in any gaps where you think something might be missing but not quite sure what! Helen has scattered some of the new Dina Wakley 'Collage Words' across the two pages. These are great as you can add a sentiment to your page whilst still allowing the colours from the background to
