Manchester and on

Well the last 2 days have been taken up by a fair bit Van drama. The van has had a couple of engine lights come on and so we have had to have it looked at by the RAC here in the UK. While not dangerous just a bit of a nuisance. They seem to think it may be fixed now but who knows??

Walked past Old Trafford Cricket ground

We got into Bury which is a short distance from Manchester yesterday. Had the van looked at then headed off on the Bus, Tram system into Manchester to visit at least Man U stadium and their shop. Hunting things for Tim who is a big fan.
Man U Statue

Next we headed into town central on the tram to have a look about. We didn't see a lot really.

Today we began to head off towards Liverpool, but alas the van showed engine issues again so we pulled over on the M60. Not a great experience, but then headed off the main drag to wait again for the RAC guys to come have a look.
So then off to our campsite, with very little achieved today :(

Things we have noticed , yet again.
1. The roads are either major motorways or small streets with very little room to move or pullover.
2. The houses are all squashed together side by side with your neighbour connected to your house.
3. People here are generally very nice and helpful.
4. The showers here have a weird tap system (see photo)
5. Traffic lights on roundabouts!! Some have 6 exits! The lanes keep changing as you around.
6. The Lights go from Red, yellow then green on take off.
7. Stools are in all showers, why we don't know.
8. Some atm's say Free Cash Withdrawals :) gotta get me some.
9. Esso is still a petrol station here (not seen in Australia for some years
10. People flash lights at you so you know they are letting you through narrow streets or blocked roads with cars parked in 1 lane of a 2 lane road. Otherwise you are both stuck.
twist for hot cold and top for pressure

shower taps??

That all take care -- keep Living your Dream...

New South Wales Adventure - Tenterfield

Hi lovelies, A little earlier start this morning than yesterday.  We were up having a lovely breakfast by 8am.   It was a little sad this morning as we said goodbye to Steph and Leo.  We have had such a blessed time with them and we look forward to catching up with them again when we head to South Australia next year. As the weather was drizzly today we decided to head off to visit some of the nearby National Parks.  Our day consisted of dirt roads, mossy paths, lots of kangaroos and very few cars.  Gramps we are very sorry but the O Mobile is in great need of a bath.  If it rains tonight I will be sending Robbie out in his swimmers to give it a wash. Our first stop was to see Thunderbolts Hideout.  It is a short walk through some bush to see where this apparently "gentlemanly" bushranger hid. It was then back into the car and off to see the Tank Traps that were part of the Brisbane Line.  It is a fairly visually unimpressive place for such an important part

Dylusions Dy-Cuts Art Journal

Hi Lovelies, This week's edition of Art Journal is very special, stunning and unique! We can't get enough of all the textures and colours going on in this page! We just love this.  This wonderful page features the Dylusions 'Dy-Cuts' which are quirky and colorful pre-cut shapes which make the perfect addition to any art journal page! You probably can already guess what paints we have used this week... The stunning, vibrant colours which are leaping of this page, are of course, Dylusions paints! When you take a closer look at you can see the texture and elements which have been layered to create this stunning page. A script stamp is perfect for layering and can fill in any gaps where you think something might be missing but not quite sure what! Helen has scattered some of the new Dina Wakley 'Collage Words' across the two pages. These are great as you can add a sentiment to your page whilst still allowing the colours from the background to
