Day 2 Frankfurt

Today we found a walking tour of the city here by a University group. It was a really great. The guide was a local guy who lived nearby and gave us some good insights into the history of the city. The tour was about 2 hrs or so. We took in some famous sights and interesting facts about the rebuilding of the city after WWII. Tour guide and group Central Train Station Famous Hotel where Celebs stay Frankfurt is very central in Germany and has been a trading, political and financial hub for a long time. It is the home to the launched Euro dollar a few years back. Though not the capital it has a big influence on Germany. It is also a very Arty place as we have found out. After the tour went over to the market area to have a squizz. Lots of meat, fish, fruit and veggies as you would expect. Lots of tulip bulbs Bread and Pastries are to to die for!! New Name - New adventures

Hi lovelies, It seems like we have been planning our current adventure for such a long time, and yesterday we began. We left Toowoomba at  8.30am with the lovely Andrew taking us to the airport, and this commenced our looonnng flights. At Brisbane I followed the family tradition of trying to get through customs with some sort of weapon.  I had forgotten that I had a small ladies Leatherman type tool in the bottom of my bag.  It was enclosed in a lovely pink pocket, but the security officer decided it was to go into the "never to be seen again bin".  Oops. Our first flight was to Singapore.  I had visited there before when Phillip and went to UK a couple of years ago to visit Andrew, but it was Robbies first trip.
