The last couple of days we have been at the southern end of England. We missed most of the bad flooding about here at the moment. nice views about the countryside Yesterday we ventured up to see Stonehenge. It was well worth the trip to see the stones from ancient history. There is a visitors centre with buses that run up and back to the stones. Inside the centre are artifacts and slide shows about the history of the the area. It was quite informative. We always thought it was was built by Druids but it was built way before they came along. They did though use the area. It seems it was a burial ground as well with lots of mounds around which have been used for burials.
