A beautiful drive to find nothing. :-)

Hi lovelies, Yesterday I was finally recovered enough to get out and see some of the beautiful area around Yass. We decided that we would take the tourist drive to Wee Jasper.  The leaflet had 12 items of interest on the route, so we made sure we had our walking shoes and a coat, as it was a cold and windy day. Alas we did not find the ruins of the Harp of Erin Inn.  Coodravale Station, which was once owned by Banjo Paterson was no where to be seen, Swinging Bridge Reserve has no bridge, and Casey's Caves are only open on the weekend. We did however still have a great time and enjoyed the outing. The road between Yass and Wee Jasper is a little windy and very narrow in places, but some of the scenery along the way is stunning.  Due to the weather conditions our photos do not do justice to the prettiness of it. One of the things we did find along the way were the limestone rock formations.  The patterns were amazing and a wonder to see. ...
