Hi all, another day of exploring this terrific area. We went to visit Caves Beach today and had to do so at low tide due to the caves accessibility being blocked at high tide. The beach itself was a long and flat where the tide moves up the beach some 15-20 m from low to high. The main claim to fame are the beach caves. The water has eroded a number of small and large caves that aren't deep but very interesting. Some have swallows living within them. You can make your way around the bay by going through the cave to the next area. 1 area we had to time it so as not to get too wet as the tide washed through. After exploring the caves we wandered back to do the walk on the cliff edge (not that close). It was great to get a good view of the area.
