Hi lovelies, We had such fun today. Up early and we got a taxi into West Kirby to catch a train into Liverpool. It was a chilly morning, but with the promise of a fine day we were excited to head into town. When we arrived we were a little early for our first planned trip, so we had a quick wander around. The buildings in Liverpool are amazing, and huge. Took the obligatory snap with the Fab 4. We had tickets to catch the “ferry across the Mersey”. They actually play the song on the trip. 😊. Made us both smile. We got off at one of the stops and went to see the U-Boat display. This was really interesting. The sub has been cut into segments so you can see inside and get a sense of the size. We then returned to the ferry and returned to the city side of the river.
