New South Wales Adventures - Armidale

Hi lovelies, Another wonderful day in our barefoot travel adventures. This morning we set off to see the Natural History Exhibition at the University of New England.        This display was amazing and well worth the visit.   Everything was so well set out and the labelling made it really easy to find out what was on display.  The was a huge number of different animals on display.   My favourite was the was “lace fish”.   Now I know this is not the correct name, but we cannot read the photo we took of the sign.    Don’t you think it looks like a crocheted piece of artwork.   Simply amazing. New South Wales Adventure - Glen Innis and Glen Innis to Armidale.

Hi lovelies, Another 2 day catch up – so sorry.   I was so busy doing my art journal that the time got away from me.   Life is truly hard. Yesterday we went for a drive to see The Australian Standing Stones.   It was really quite an impressive set up.     This weekend in Glen Innis is the “Fans of Outlander” gathering.   As they were setting up for the weekends festivities it was a little hard to get a photo without a tent in it.     We then went for a wander up the hill behind the stones to a lookout.   I do find it amazing that you can always find something that will set one town apart from another at these lookouts.    We then took   short drive to Red Ridge.   We had no idea what we would find, but did not expect to find some magnificent turkeys. Home for lunch and a short nap.   Then while Robbie did some computer stuff I spent the afternoon working on my journal ...
