Well we achieved a milestone today in reaching the top of Scotland, as far you can go with wheels on. It is a nice view out across the water to a few islands that lay just to the north. Signpost at John O'Groats On the way we drove through lots of little villages, saw lots of wind turbines again out at sea and found lots of places that were closed for the winter!! Great work us. We ventured north to Wick where we hoped to see a few things, but alas not be be. We did wander around the docks and got to see the shortest street in the world. Yep correct short it is. It is measured by just the doorway. Wicks Docks Shortest Street We ventured to a castle but it was in ruins and nothing really to see sadly. Sorry Gramps no John (Wicks) :) We did see the 7 gates with art work collected by the towns children and people to represent the district. Next off to John O ' Groats where we reached the top of Scotland. Lovely spot. It is very windy here...
