Rob & Liz's Blessed Adventures

Hi lovelies, It seems like we have been planning our current adventure for such a long time, and yesterday we began. We left Toowoomba at  8.30am with the lovely Andrew taking us to the airport, and this commenced our looonnng flights. At Brisbane I followed the family tradition of trying to get through customs with some sort of weapon.  I had forgotten that I had a small ladies Leatherman type tool in the bottom of my bag.  It was enclosed in a lovely pink pocket, but the security officer decided it was to go into the "never to be seen again bin".  Oops. Our first flight was to Singapore.  I had visited there before when Phillip and went to UK a couple of years ago to visit Andrew, but it was Robbies first trip. Two things he noticed was that there are no speaker announcements, so it is very quiet, and that there are guards in the bathrooms.  This was the shortest of our two flights.  Our viewing choices were John Wick 3 and 5 new ...

Well we are wandering home slowly, so we stopped in Cowra for 2 days then onto Bathurst for a week to do a bit more sightseeing. We found some interesting sights in Cowra including the railway museum, and the POW camp. We found the railway history museum interesting because we could wander through the old carriages and look at the round house workshop. My father was a railway man years ago so it was good to remember some things from way back. Old sleepers 1st class 2nd class seating One was the toilet where you had to 'hold it' while at the station as the it goes straight onto the track! The old style 1st class and 2nd class seating and sleepers was cool to see again. A shunter diesel Round house Loved seeing the old engines and rail cars as well.
